Pinawa Panthers Hockey Team
StudyUp is proud to be sponsoring a minor hockey team in Pinawa, Manitoba, Canada starting with the 2011 - 2012 season. Here are a couple of pictures of our young superstars sporting the brand new jerseys that our donation helped purchase. Go panthers go!
2nd Annual StudyUp.com Ice Fishing Derby
On DEC27 of 2011, StudyUp organized, sponsored, and ran an ice fishing derby on the Winnipeg River. We had over 50 fisherman and fisherwomen turn out for the event. Students, parents of students, and teachers were in attendance; we had all angles of the learning process covered. The winner of the derby was Bruce Murray, receiveing a nice cash prize for his efforts. Here are a couple of pictures from the derby.
